My son and I moved to Wakefield, New Hampshire in 1979. I started in the Real Estate business as a secretary and was licensed as an agent associate in 1980.

In 1984 I opened my own office at the Green Mountain Furniture complex on Route 16 in Ossipee, as a franchise under Henry S. Maxfield Real Estate, Inc. of Wolfeboro. Starting with one agent and one listing. I built the business into a leading Real Estate agency in the area.

In 1989 I sold the business to Maxfield. I continued to work for Maxfield for the next nine years with my daughter Lynn Hubbard-Shure assisting me the last two years. In 1998 I opened my own home business with my daughter on 24 Woodcrest Drive in Ossipee. We have recently expanded the business with two new agents, Donna Faucette and John Hubbard.
